On March 11th 2020, the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) has reached pandemic status.
Because of this, we are asking our customers to check the Terms and Conditions of their policy, as there may be an exclusions in relation to a Pandemic or ‘Known event’, which means there is no or restricted cover under the policy after the 11th March 2020.
As a general policy, our travel insurance policies are designed to protect you against the unexpected and not for cancellation cover for events that could reasonably be expected to cause a claim.
We will update our guidance regularly, so please check it regularly to remain up to date.
